 Struggle to survive, very little to eat, struggling to add hope in child is every day cycle in the life of a widow. India is a home for more than 40 million widows. Many women in rural communities, SC and STs go to sleep with no food or little food and wake up in the morning to rush for daily labor work, recognizing the raising need we are  helping hundreds  of widows every month.  And during festive seasons we provides clothes to the widows.

In the bustling streets of India, amidst the vibrant colors and cacophony of life, there exists a community often shunned and forgotten – the lepers. Leprosy, a disease that has plagued humanity for centuries, continues to cast a shadow of stigma and isolation upon those afflicted by it. But amidst this darkness, there shines a beacon of hope – a ministry dedicated to extending compassionate care and healing to lepers across the nation.

"Leprosy, also known as Hansen's disease, is a chronic infectious disease that primarily affects the skin, nerves, and mucous membranes. Beyond its physical manifestations, leprosy inflicts profound social and psychological suffering upon its victims. The misconceptions and fear surrounding the disease often lead to discrimination, ostracization, and even abandonment by family and society."

In the face of such adversity, there emerges a ministry "Livingstone ministries India" driven by a profound sense of compassion and a commitment to serve the marginalized. We operate with a singular purpose – to provide holistic support and care to lepers, addressing not only their physical ailments but also their emotional and spiritual well-being.

One of the cornerstone initiatives of this ministry is the provision of medical care and rehabilitation services. Through mobile clinics and healthcare facilities strategically located in leprosy-affected areas, the ministry offers diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care for leprosy patients. Skilled healthcare professionals provide not only medical interventions but also education on disease management and prevention.

Vocational training programs and economic empowerment initiatives empower lepers to regain their independence and dignity. Faith School of worship was launched in 2016 with a vision to Ignite worship flames across Telugu region. Since then we are able to help churches to get worship music in their language and even help them write their own songs to the Lord. Along the journey, we trained about 800+ students at our Faith School of worship. Many of them are currently ministering in their local churches, some became disciples who make disciples, while others are excelling in their musical expertise.

We counsel the children to address both their physical and mental characters. The girls attended several motivational lectures and underwent special counseling to help them cope with the challenges of adolescence. Extra care is taken to shield them from false enchantments by societal elements and secure their peaceful and happy life.

The children are encouraged to participated in various events including inter-orphanage competitions, talent competitions at their school and other events. We help them in identifying and developing their skills and talents according to their interests. JSM made it compulsory for the parents/guardian to visit their children at least once every month in order to ensure adequate bonding with their parents or extended families if any.

JSM is much thoughtful of the girls we raise. It not just giving them basic need and education, but step higher the founder takes the position of the mother and arranges their marriage just as any mother would do as per the culture of our society. It is not just an organisation but a family built with relationships.

JSM gives utmost attention when it comes to the children’s health. A doctor visits the Home once every two days. While we addressed minor health issues (cold, fever and first aid) among the children, cases of severe illnesses will be referred to the hospital. The children receive regular dental and general health examinations every alternate month.
